ACTIVITY 3 – Managing Compliance with Legislation and Policy
Strategic Procurement encompasses many legislative aspects, beyond just the procurement processes or practices. What does your agency do to ensure that staff are aware of all legislative requirements and the compliance issues involved?
Take 30 minutes to draft out a response to the question and then be prepared to participate in a debriefing. You should then finalise your response and submit it for assessment.
Note we are looking at the how staff are, or should be, kept informed, not at any specific legislation per se. Hint – posting information on a website is NOT considered adequate. You need to consider information, communication (including clear feedback and testing), education, training, decision making, etc.
